Last night, Debbie, George, Jenny, Chuck, and I went to the LaGrange Street Polish Festival located on LaGrange Street [duh] in Toledo. This is the third or fourth time that Debbie and I have headed down to this, and we both like it the best out of all of the Polish festivals that we have been to in our area. It just has a lot more of a laid-back feel, is a lot cheaper, and you can tell that it’s a real community event. The food is all homemade - no elephant ear vendors or lemonade-squeezers. It’s great too, because the profits from it help fund neighborhood home improvement programs and high school scholarships.
