Attention all Plazes users [or those interested in it]!

It appears that you can now use Plazes with any SMS-enabled wireless phone.

I started messing around with it a bit today - and so far, so good. There are some interesting additional things you can do with it. For example - say you’d like to invite someone who you know is another Plazes user to your current location - you can do that now. You can also send an SMS to Plazes with a name of a friend who uses Plazes, and you can find out where they are/last were. You can also send requests to Plazes to find “the closest restaurant”, etc.

The graphic on the linked page above makes more sense than that paragraph probably does—but I wanted to post something here about it—as I know other friends that actively use Plazes, as I do…
