feedback rules.
No, I am not speaking of the rockin’ guitar ilk [but as you might know, I am totally down with audio/video feedback].
For those not in the loop—I have a second, part-time job that I have picked up a few weeknights and weekend mornings. I am working retail for a company that I have always held in high esteem—and it’s great fun.
I really try my best to make everyone that comes into the store feel as welcomed as possible and explain how our store “works”, as it’s a bit different from most retailers.
I had a co-worker come up to me tonight after he saw me welcome a customer. My co-worker then told me that he thought I do an amazing job making the customers feel welcomed and informed about the best way to get around the store, where to find things and how to buy stuff.
On such a slow night as it was tonight, it really made my evening.
So, if you know of someone that’s kicking some serious butt at what they do—let them know. You’ll make them feel like a million bucks, and they’ll appreciate you even more for noticing how hard they work.
